Professor Beard was my guide, my friend and my inspiration; i owe much of my success to his belief in me; i will always remember his humility, his kindness and patience...and the fact that he was perhaps the easiest grader in my years at Drexel...in his memory i have always strived to show patience of my students and give the highest grade possible. may his memory be a blessing
