Ronald Donato Obituary
Ronald Vincent Donato, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Lorraine (nee Ireland); daughters, Susan (Bill) Screnci, Nancy (Tim) Doyle, Terri Donato, Joan (Bob) Mercer; sons, Tom (Linda) Donato, Ron, Jr. (Leigh) Donato, and Paul (Elizabeth) Donato, as well as 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday evening 7 to 9pm and Tuesday morning 10 to 10:45am in Holy Eucharist RC Church 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 11am. Ron will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum immediately after the Mass.

We will truly miss Big Ron. What a great sense of humor and a wonderful family man. Just so glad I had the opportunity to meet and get to know him through my best friend, his daughter Mary Sue. He was the best! All of our sympathy to all of his family which he loved so much. Rest in peace Big Ron.

My condolences to the entire Donato Family on your loss. I worked with Ron at RMP in the 80's and 90's as an acccountant just out of college. Ron was always fair and considerate of my work and opinions. My favorite recollection is when Ron saw me at an ATM in Avalon. He offered me some cash to get through the weekend, and I still remember his happy go lucky attitude, especially when talking about sports or family. I'm glad to say I was a friend and co-worker. Our condolences from our family to yours during this difficult time. Ron Sr. and his lovely wife and children, especially Coach Ron and Leigh, were a big part of our lives for many years through soccer. Ron Sr. was always a strong presence on the sidelines. He was funny and always gracious. Sean and Katie- Ash sends her regards and her condolences as well. The Donato's are an admirable family! God Bless.

I knew Ron when we were both worked at RCA Moorestown. If resolution of a production problem required some engineering support, he was quick to request it, and there was always great pleasure when working together in helping out to fix the problem.
