Ruth Christiansen Gaughan

Age 84 of Palmyra NJ passed away on Monday August 22 2006 at her home after a long illness.
Ruth was born December 20 1921 daughter of the late Harald Julius and Maren Christiansen. She grew up in Gloucester City NJ with her five siblings and was a graduate of Gloucester High School.
She was married to the late Thomas J. Gaughan and resided in Brook-lawn NJ for many years. Ruth worked for fifteen years as a legal secretary and for ten years as a Superior Court Judge's secretary for Camden County in Camden NJ until her retirement.
Ruth is survived by her loving children Richard D. Gaughan and his wife Iris of Riverton NJ Thomas M. Gaughan of Ft. Myers FL and Christine G. Hodapp and her husband Fred of Chadds Ford PA. She was also loved by and is survived by her five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ruth was a dedicated and loving wife mother grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed for her strength wisdom and lifelong support of those she loved. Funeral services will be held privately.
