I am heavy-hearted to hear of Sandy's passing. She was a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend. Though I never had her as my teacher, I subbed for her many times. She was a major influence on me going back to school & get my teaching degree. Know her spirit will live on in all of the students, staff, and people she touched.

I didn't know sandy personally but I always admired her for her consistent display of faith. I followed her from Delair kindergarten, her participation at at Veronica's church and then mary queen of all saints. Just watching her from afar I knew that she was a very giving person. I'm sure she is with the Angels now. My sincere condolences to sandy's family.

Lawrence, Alyssa and the whole DeSimone family, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am and how much I loved your Mom. Knowing your Mom since the days she taught all three of my children first grade was a priviledge. She was a beautiful person. I enjoyed talking with her every other Friday for over 20 years. The joy she had when William was born and everyday since. You all were the world to her. She will truly be missed. Love, Doreen Davis
