Thomas O'Mara Obituary
AGE: 78 • Medford
Thomas J. O'Mara, Jr., 78, of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2016, at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Tom resided in NJ for 36 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served his country. Tom went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. He retired from Pioneer Electronics as a Zone Vice President. Tom was a parishioner at St. Joan of Arc R.C. Church in Marlton, and a member of the Links Golf Club in Marlton.
Husband of the late Barbara (nee Belland) O'Mara; he is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Madeline (nee Riera) O'Mara; his five children, Thomas O'Mara (Mary), Timothy O'Mara (Debi), Shawn O'Mara (Carolyn), Terry Stafford, and Tara Whitley (Scott); 12 grandchildren, Brittany, T.J., Tommy, Riley, Samantha, Shannan, Shawn, Conor, Dylan, Bobby, Christian and Jude.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, July 8, 2016, from 10AM-12PM, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12PM, at the church.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tom's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Mathis Funeral Home, Medford, NJ.

Madeleine, Tom was such a wonderful person, husband, father, grandfather and cousin. He was a people person, and all who knew him, looked up to him. We lost track along the years, but I was always proud to say that's "My cousin"!!
