Walter Nisnick Obituary
Mt. Laurel
Walter Nisnick passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 12, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1930 and reared in Bethlehem, PA, Walter was the son of Benjamin and Donia Nisnick. Following graduation from Columbia University, he served in the Army from 1952 through 1954 during the Korean Conflict. He married Ruthann Custman in 1958. Walter was a hardworking pharmacist and owner of Cinnaminson Pharmacy in Cinnaminson, NJ, where he cared for his customers as he cared for his family.
He was the loving husband of Ruthann, loving father of daughter Amy Shine, son-in-law Kenny Shine, son Jeffrey Nisnick, daughter Marjorie Nisnick, and loving grandfather of Sabrina Tis, Nadia Tis, Carly Shine and Kevin Shine. He is also survived by his sister Carol Puschett and nephew Dr. Mitchell Puschett of El Paso, TX.
Protecting and caring for his family and the people he served in his pharmacy was an important part of his life. Nothing made him happier than having his children and grandchildren around and enjoying Sunday dinners filled with storytelling and laughter. Walter resided with his wife, son, and daughter Marji in her home in Mount Laurel, NJ.
