William Stuhltrager Obituary
Alpharetta - William J. Stuhltrager, Sr., passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Alpharetta GA (his home since Oct 2015). There will be a visitation from 9:45 to 10:45am Friday morning at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes RC Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood, NJ 08012.Funeral Mass 11am in church. Interment will be at New St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellmawr, NJ following the Mass. Bill was born on Nov. 25, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA to Valentine and Marion Stuhltrager. He joined the Marine Corps in September 1950, was discharged in 1953 and served in Korea. He worked for NJ Bell for 32 years and retired in 1985 (33 years retired). He was a dedicated 3rd degree Knight for 49 years serving in 4 different councils over the years. His loving wife of 49 years, Shirley A. predeceased him in 2005. He is survived by his children William J. Jr. (Carol) of Alpharetta, GA, Robert (Jaimie) of Blackwood, Brian (Denise) of Hartsville, SC and Kim of Blackwood. He was a devoted grandfather of Brian Michael, Cherieann, Brittany, Will, Kolleen, Amy, Kayla, Christopher and Andrew. His last memories were of his great granddaughter Harper. Dear brother of Valentine Jr. of Wenonah. Dear brother-in-law to Marie Evans and Frances Bianco of Marlton. Survived by many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's name to: Knights of Columbus Charities, Inc. PO Box 382154, Pittsburgh, PA. 15251-8154.
