Berthold Neuber Obituary
Evansville - Berthold "Bert" Neuber, 81, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at North River Health Campus. He was born July 5, 1939, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Berthold Henry and Elizabeth Gertrude (Plath) Neuber.
Bert graduated from the first graduating class of North High School in 1957. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad, with 30 years as an engineer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, George Krietemeyer.
Bert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley; daughter, Teri (Jack) Noveroske and granddaughter, Kelsey Gries; twin sister, Elizabeth Krietemeyer; nephews, Dave (Keri) Krietemeyer and Greg (Diana) Krietemeyer.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor David Peterson, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Church of Darmstadt or It Takes A Village - Animal Rescue.

So sorry for your loss, Bret was a great guy. When I joined rock steady boxing he was always there for encouragement. He will be missed by all of us at the YMCA

Bert was one of the 1st people I met when I joined the rock steady boxing program. Though parkinson's hit him hard he fought back and encouraged others to do the same. Every time he was in class he had a positive word or a smile regardless of how he was feeling personally. I will miss him terribly And I am thankful for this season where he has been part of my life

I met Mr. Neuber at Central volleyball games where we rooted for our granddaughters, both named Kelsey. I also enjoyed talking to him at Elite Fitness. He was very nice man and extremely proud of Kelsey. My heartfelt sympathies to her and the family.
