Bradford J. "Brad" Koch

Newburgh, Indiana

Bradford J "Brad" Koch, 46, of Newburgh, lost his battle with cancer at 8:30 am, February 26, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Brad was born April 8, 1970, in Evansville, Indiana, the son of Michael and Patricia Koch. Brad graduated from North Posey High School in 1988 and had been a member of the band. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and Plumbing Union Local 136. Brad was a Fourth-Degree Knights of Columbus and worked with the Pro-Life Center in Lancaster, CA.

Brad proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 17.5 years where he was a superintendent of the Airfield. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, he continued his work there as a civilian at Plant 42 in Palmdale, CA. Brad also worked with his parents family owned company, Hi-Tech Sheet Metal.

Brad is survived by his loving wife, Alma (Villahermosa) Koch, daughter Joni Koch of Pittsburgh, PA, sons Joseph and Jacob Koch of Newburgh, parents, Michael & Patricia Koch of Newburgh, brothers – Derrick (Sharon) Koch, Damian (Maria) Koch, Patrick Koch, sisters – Mary (Robert) Pullen and Michelle(Doug) Hogan, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his son Gabriel and grandparents Joseph & Frances Koch and Michael & Mary Kissel.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Tommy Childs, the nurses and staff at St. Mary's Medical Center, Dr. Waits, Dr. Patel and the VA Hospital for their loving care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Thursday, March 2, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh, IN 47630, with Father Tyler Tenbarge and Father Lowell Will officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, in Poseyville, IN. The American Legion Post #278 will render full Military Rites at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 3 pm until 8 pm, Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, and also from 9 am – 10 am, Thursday, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Lynnville National Bank for his sons' college fund.
