Folsomville, Indiana - Carl Delbert Young Sr., 80, of Folsomville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Carl was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 5, 1940 to the late George Albert Young Sr. and Edith Mae (Driskell) Young.
Carl worked for many years as a farmer and retired from Whirlpool after 34 years of service. He enjoyed go kart racing with his grandson and was an avid horseshoe player.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Karen Young; daughter, Juli Anne Bowman; siblings, Donnie, Paul, Robert, George, Laverne, Velma, Albert, Sam.
Carl is survived by his children, Tenisha Limp of Alvin, TX; Carl Young Jr. of Haubstadt, IN; Holly Mullen of Folsomville, IN; grandchildren, Brandon Young (Trisha); Jesse Humbird (Katherine); Travis Humbird (Brittany); Triston Mullen; Trevor Mullen; Trace Mullen; great-grandchildren, Addyson Humbird; Travis Humbird Jr; Trevor Allen Humbird; Jacee Humbird; Mason Young; sister, Phyllis Stallings (Jon); several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 A.M. on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana with Pastor Randy Moore officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 3 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 and again from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the staff at Transcendent Health Care - North, St. Vincent Hospital - Warrick, and St. Vincent Hospital - Evansville for their loving care and support.
