Catherine Ann Peaugh
Evansville, Ind.
Catherine Ann (Turpin) Peaugh, 70, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Catherine was born in Evansville, Indiana, on January 21, 1942, to the late John and Alvina (Berning) Turpin. Catherine was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was her family, grandchildren and her church family.
Catherine is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gilbert Peaugh, of Evansville, Ind.; daughters, Mindy Strong (Greg), of Evansville, Ind., Cindy Wright (Charlie), of Sparta, Tenn., Amy Kerchief (Paul), of Evansville, Ind.; son, Jeff Peaugh, of Evansville, Ind.; sisters, Georgia Rednour, of Newburgh, Ind., Doris Clark, of Casey, Ill., Norma Sweeney (Don), of Evansville, Ind., Peggy Ogg (Steve), of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers, John Turpin, of Robards, Ky., Robert Turpin (Sue), of Smyrna, Tenn., and Jerry Turpin (Nell), of Evansville, Ind.; grandchildren, Jon Wright, of Monroe, Tenn., Brittany Peaugh, Matthew Strong, Daniel Strong, David Kerchief, Catey Kerchief, Coltyn Peaugh, Dradyn Peaugh, all of Evansville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents; and a grandchild, Wesley Strong.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Browning Funeral Home 738 E. Diamond Ave., with Rev. Barry Kirves officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may visit from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012, at Browning Funeral Home.
