Memories and Condolences

Not sure what to say?

October 1, 2007

"...in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

I had not seen David in years, but what a joy to know I'll get to see my classmate again in heaven (grin)! Be encouraged family and know that "earth hath no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal."
May God bless, comfort, strengthen and keep you is my prayer.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I have many wonderful memories of growing up with, and being a friend of David's, at Plaza Park elementary and Harrison High Schools which I will carry with me the rest of my life. May God bless David and his family at this difficult time.

Dear Newcomb Family:

Our lives are but a journey
filled with paths we each will take
Our joys, found in the love we give
and friendships that we make.

The roads we choose along the way
provide a chance to see
the beauty in each person's heart
and share it's mystery.

Our fortunes aren't in "what we have"
but in how we think and feel
it's caring for those close to us
and sharing what is real.

And though we can't know how much time
we'll share or know just why,
we have to let a loved one go
and say that last good-bye.

We travel on through life and find
the memories we hold dear
will keep our loved ones close at heart,
their spirits always near.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief and sorrow.
