March 24, 2020

I am deeply sadden to learn of Ed's passing and extend my condolences to his family.

I worked with Ed for many years at Squaw Creek and have nothing but good memories of him.

Ed served as our Local Union Financial Secretary during the Pittston Strike and was a good Union man.

With the impact of the virus I will be unable to pay my respects in person but I want the family to know that we at LU 1189 fondly remember "Hoss".

I regret that our paths went in different directions after the mine closed and we fell out of contact.
Peace to the Family
