Selvin, IN.
Ida Mae (McNeely) Taylor, 89, of Selvin, Indiana passed away at 11:40 pm, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at home surrounded by family.
Ida was born in Degonia Springs on August 13, 1926, the daughter of the late Clarence and Nancy (Scales) McNeely.
Ida is survived by her children, Michael K. (Bettye) Bruce, Janet K. (Roger) Madison, Brenda L. (Ronald) Hanes, John D. Taylor, James H. Taylor, Carol J. Taylor-Miller and Joe D. (Melody) Taylor and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Garvin L. Taylor; sons, Ronald A. and Arnold E. Bruce; grandchildren, Jane M. Wright and Darrin L. Van Horn, five sisters and three brothers.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Spencer County Hospice for their care and kindness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Wednesday, Sept.30 at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel. Friends may call Tuesday 3-8pm and Wednesday 12noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Garrison Chapel Cemetery.
