James Huff Obituary
Evansville - James A. "Jim" Huff, age 83, of Evansville, IN, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Heritage Nursing Home.
Jim was born July 10, 1937, in Evansville, IN, to Curtis B. Huff and Bessie M. (Holmes) Huff. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1955 with a focus on Mechanical Arts. Jim retired in 2006 after 32 years from the City of Evansville Levee Department. He enjoyed gardening, especially vegetables. Jim loved the Lord and enjoyed serving Him. He was a longtime member of the Riverside Church of God in Evansville.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marilyn (Mullen) Huff; daughter, Susan Williams (James); sons, Darrell Huff, Randy Huff (Cindy) and Jeff Huff (Julie); sister, Versal Osman; brother, Bobby Huff and many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Bessie Huff; sisters Erma Huff, Eugina Blackwood and Audrey Marcum; brothers, Roger Huff and Jack Huff; and great granddaughter Hayleigh Collison.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor Sam Gardner officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time.
