Martha Louise Hammonds, 74, passed away July 8, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital, Evansville. She was born June 11, 1944 in New Brunswick, NJ to the late John and Wilma (High) Zubritsky. She moved to Indiana in 1991. She was a lifetime waitress and will be missed by all. Survivors include her son, David Jurski of Delaware; siblings, Anne Reemsnyder, Bernadette Nagy, Katherine Hill, Wesley Zubritsky all of Florida, and Veronica Zubritsky of New Jersey. The family has my condolences upon the loss of Marty , may she Rest In Peace

Marty was such a good hearted lady. My mom and her became friends from her waiting on us at Dennys on the Westside. Every Saturday morning, we went to Dennys, and she ALWAYS waited on us. She always had pictures of friends and family members in her pocket that she always wanted to share.
When she quit working, she would call me off/on and check on my mom until she passed.
Marty will have a special spot in heaven. I'm glad she's not in pain anymore.
