Max Crecelius Obituary

Max Crecelius

Evansville - Max Crecelius, 81, passed away on September 13, 2020. He was born on September 28, 1938 to Ralph and Velma Crecelius in Evansville, Indiana.

Max served his country in the United Stated Marine Corps working on bomber planes. He worked at Alcoa. Max loved to fish. He enjoyed making fly fishing bugs. Max also enjoyed attending cigar and pipe shows. Max was also a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan. He also received a pilot's license and enjoyed flying remote planes. He a member of the Conservation Gun Club in Newburgh.

Max is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda Crecelius; his children Nick (Emily) Crecelius and Kelly (Steve) Wickiser; his grandchildren Sydney Wickiser, Ally Stuard, Zack Stuard, Carson Crecelius, Katie Crecelius, and Bryce Crecelius; and his nieces Maryann and Nancy.

Max was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Karen Feldhaus and Diane Klumper.

There will be no services at this time.
