Nicole Soeken Obituary

Nicole Anne Soeken

Evansville - Nicole Anne Soeken, 45, of Evansville, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. She was born November 25, 1973 in Saginaw, MI.

She enjoyed playing in the water, riding on her hot cycle and later her three-wheel bike, bowling, and going on walks. She ran track for the Special Olympics. Nicki liked going on field trips on the bus with her friends. She loved the feeling of being dizzy, giggling as she would spin on the merry-go-round or hang upside down on the monkey bars!

Nicole was preceded in death by her father, Richard Soeken. She is survived by her mother, Rita Soeken; sister Leela, brother-in-law Jens, and nephews, Ryan and Jack Voges.

A Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 4, 2019 at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 1811 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Tom Wenig. Friends may visit Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics, Bethesda Lutheran Home in Springfield, IL, Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, or Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Evansville.

Nicole was a wonderful person. She loved her chocolate pudding. She had a contagious smile that lot up the room. We all loved her she will be missed by so many.
