Mount Vernon, Ind.
Robert Lee Bergner Jr., 55 of Mt. Vernon, Ind., passed away Wednesday morning July 12, 2017, at his home.
He was born on June 11, 1962, in Evansville, the son of Robert Lee and Emilie (Gilpatrick) Bergner Sr. He married Robin Seifert on June 1, 1985, and she survives.
Bob was a carpet installer and had previously worked for Alles Brothers, Haubstadt Carpets and Carpet Bargain. He loved attending Church and was a Volkswagon enthusiast. He currently attended Faith Fellowship Church, in Mt. Vernon, but attended several churches over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Robin; son, Robert Lee III (Autum Holder); daughter, Shellee Bergner (Russell Cameron); grandchildren, Jackson, Keatan and Olivia Cameron; father, Robert Lee Bergner Sr.; sisters, Terri Forbey, Jammie (Eddie) Salinas and Kelly (Jack) Evans; mother-in-law, Phyllis Seifert; and his "little buddy", Chance Forbey.
He was preceded in death by his mother; uncle, Ron Bergner; nephew, Jackie Evans; and his father-in-law, Marion Seifert.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Matthew Lee and Dr. Anthony Stephens.
Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Stendeback Family Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, by Pastor Brad Nolen and Mark Boyer. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017, at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Burial will be in Caborn Cemetery.
