Ronald Ochsner Obituary

Ronald Keith Ochsner

Evansville - Ronald Keith Ochsner, 73, passed away at his home on Monday, January 4, 2021. He was born February 26, 1947 to the late Edwin J. and Mary A. Ochsner. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1969-1971. He retired from Pro-Tex-All in 2013. In 2016, he went to work part time for the Darmstadt Schnucks until June 2020. He was an avid bowler often bowling in 4 leagues in a season. He enjoyed spending time with family, wood working and all types of machine maintenance. There wasn't anything he could not repair. His mother-in-law often told people, "Everyone needs a Ron."

Ronald is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jo Anne Kruse Ochsner; daughter, Mary Lehman (Scott); son, Technical Sergeant Edwin Ochsner (Chandavone); granddaughters, Hannah Lehman and Londyn Ochsner; grandsons, Micah Lehman and Nolan Ochsner; sisters, Rosemary Hardin (Bill) and Linda Curl (Edward); brothers, Robert Ochsner (Roberta) and Marvin Ochsner; and several nieces and nephews. He loved watching his granddaughter, Hannah, in the Castle Knightingale Show Choir competitions and his grandson, Micah, playing the marimba with the Castle Marching Knights and Winter Percussion. He also enjoyed following his son in the Air Force Band of the Golden West.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Ochsner.
