Ruby M. Rumble
Princeton, IN — Ruby M. Rumble, 89 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born September 6, 1921 in Princeton, IN to Ernest & Orpha (Woods) Scott. She was a member of Columbia General Baptist Church in Princeton. Ruby was a 60 year member of the Extension Homemakers "Marsh Creek" and then "Hazleton Homemakers", a 50 year member of Farm Bureau Inc, the historian and a instructor for the Red Cross, a volunteer gray lady at Baldwin Heights School, and a longtime member of the Indiana Rural Youth.
Ruby is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Scott and Anna Rumble of Lafayette; daughter & son-in-law, Ann and Bert Hyneman of Mt. Olympus; 7 grandchildren, Andrea (Matt) Turner, Kayla Dillon, Samantha Hyneman, Stephanie (Matt) Bosma, Susan Rumble, Karen (Kurt) Peters and Ryan Rumble; 8 great-grandchildren, Grace, William, Jonah, Joy and Ruby Bosma and Grant, Lauren and Katelyn Peters; and her companion, Hayward McEllhiney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer Rumble in 2002; and 2 sisters, Lois Lasley and Mildred Binkley.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Monday May 2, 2011 at Columbia General Baptist Church in Princeton, with Rev. Ron Marsh officiating. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 PM on Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
Memorial Condolences may be made to the Columbia General Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at Colvin Funeral Home or at the church. Condolences may be made online at www.colvinfuneralhome.com
