Muriel was a treasure to work with at Nimitz for many years from the bug jewery she wore on her shoulder to the patriotic spirit she was wonderful. Never too busy to stop and go into the back library room and find a "record player" or "overhead projector" bulb or help you find a reference book or web site (when we went to computers), Muriel was one of a kind. I know we all will die but losing her is a sadness for us. Her joy in heaven must be great! She laughed so much on earth. May the Lord bless her family.

I served with Muriel at Lakewood Church and was her team leader on Saturday Night. She was such a special friend and an awesome woman of God and I praise God for her friendship. We served together many years. I remember her being so friendly to everyone she greeted and how she would love it so much when she would find out you were a first time visitor. She made everyone that she met feel God's love. She will be truly missed by her whole Saturday night team. I will miss her so very much. She was a very dear friend to me and was there for me to always encourage me when I lost my husband and mother and sister-in-law. I will miss our talking to each other on the phone. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. May God bless you and give you His comfort and peace and know that He will be there for all of you

To the Family of Ms. Muriel Sharpe,
I have been one of the most blessed persons to have known her in my time at Lakewood Church... she was one of those rare individuals, who can just help out there was always an need. If I would ask her to bring something in to read, for the Ladies or there was a need in our group of Ladies at Lakewood, she was the one who knew just what to bring bring in to read to them with a hurting hearts, and sad of spirits... with her readiness to bring simple but, things that will last a life time, to our group of Ladies in needs that was truly a spiritual closeness, everyone needs.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Muriel. She was such a wonderful lady, and it was a pleasure to work with her for so many years at Nimitz. I never see a little bug pendant without thinking of her. She was a beautiful soul, and she will be missed.

We are sadden by your lose and ours as well. Muriel is that bright shining star in sky, she makes an impression on everyone she would meet and will be dearly missed. My husband said he has know your mom since he was in High School at MacArthur and I have know her since I started working at Nimitz in 1992. After your mom retired and would visit us here at Nimitz, she would always make her rounds to make sure she visited everyone she knew. I always looked forward to her visits, it would make my day. I know we don't have to tell you how wonderful a person your mom was because you already know that about her, but your mom and dad were such a great couple and so in love. She loved all her family so much and we would always here interesting stories about her family. She will be missed. Our prayers are with you and your family. God will guide you through this.
With all our love,

Debra,
I only worked with you at Nimitz for a year, but I will never forget how helpful you were to me. I did work with your mom for a few years before she retired and when saw her last year I told her retirement was doing wonders for her because she looked so young and so relaxed. I was shocked at her passing. My prayers are with you and your family during this time. She was so proud of you and all her family. May God Bless You and Keep You.

Muriel will be dearly missed by the National Memorial Ladies. She proudly spoke of her children and grandchildren who were in the military service as inspiration for her volunteer work at Houston National Cemetery. She also joyfully shared many loving details of her family life with all of us.
