Tony Cox Obituary
He was born April 29, 1960, in Evansville to Thomas R. and Elizabeth (Mohr) Cox. Tony graduated from Castle High School in 1978. He was in car sales for over 25 years working for Romain Buick and Kenny Kent Toyota. He received salesman of the year 15 times and was the youngest recipient of the Buick Sales master Green Jacket Award, which is awarded to the Top 50 Salesman of the U.S. Tony was also involved with the family businesses, Lucky Streak Horse Farm which raises and races thoroughbred horses throughout the U.S., and Michaele Anthony Antiques in Newburgh. His membership includes H.P.B.A. and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Newburgh.
Tony is survived by his wife, Michaele Latham-Cox; mother, Elizabeth Cox; daughter, Alexandria Cox; son, Montana Halterman, all of Newburgh; father, Thomas R. Cox of Indianapolis; uncle, Frank (Dottie) Mohr of Newburgh; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks from the family to Tony's caregiver, Randy Heck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh. Father Joseph Ziliak will officiate and interment will be held at a later date at St. John the Baptist Mausoleum. Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2010, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St, Newburgh, (812) 853-8314, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Center for Dance Education, PO Box 4872, Evansville, Ind. 47710. Condolences may be made online at www.titzerfuneralhomes.com

My hearfelt thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I knew Tony from buying my camry at Kenny Kenny 9 years ago. He was an AMAZING sales person and great person in general. He made my first car buying experience so much easier. He really went the extra mile since it was my first car purchase. He worked so hard to find me the perfect car. I sold my camry last week ironically. I had it for 9 years. I thought of Tony when I sold it. When my mom told me of his passing, I was just crushed. You are in my thoughts

I was truly saddened to read of your loss, I remember when Tony first came to work for me many years ago. I have many fond memories of the good times we had at the racetrack. What a fun guy he was.

michele i am so sorry to hear of your loss. although we had only met for a brief period, tony seemed to love you and life without reguard. wish i was there to help you through this. we love you, stay strong. your cousins and aunt and all of your family in upstate.

I worked with Tony at Regal Buick,now Romain. I always enjoyed our conversations and the times after work running around. Even though I am an "Old Dog," Tony taught me a lot of new tricks to the automotive game.
