Wanda TenBarge Obituary
Evansville, Ind. - Wanda L. (Goetz) TenBarge, 88, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at River Bend Nursing and Rehab.
Wanda was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 19, 1932 to the late August Casper and Marie B. (Terry) Goetz. She graduated from Memorial High School and was a loving mother to her seven children. Wanda was a long time member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN where she was a greeter and a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Alter Society. More recently, she was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Evansville. Wanda's life revolved around her family. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Wanda is survived by her children, Randy TenBarge (Janice) of Evansville, IN, Tim TenBarge (Susan) of Greenwood, IN, Christi Schiff (C.B.) of Louisville, KY, Lenny TenBarge (Angie Daub) of Evansville, IN, Amy Hammett (Jeff) of Evansville, IN, Joy Camomot (Dino) of Louisville, KY, and Barry TenBarge (Stephanie) of Greenwood, IN; 21 Grandchildren; and by 10 great-grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas G. "Tom" TenBarge; sister, Mary "Edwina" Schimmell (Jean); and by her brothers, Edward "Shirl" Goetz (Doris) and Billy Jean Goetz.
Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 918 W. Mill Rd., Evansville, IN 47710 followed by a Rosary and Mass celebrated by Father Jason Gries. Wanda and her husband, Tom, will be buried together at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to River Bend Nursing and Rehab, 3400 Stocker Dr., Evansville, IN 47720.
The family would like to thank the staff at River Bend Nursing and Rehab and Heritage Hospice for their compassionate care.
