Evansville, IN
William C. Tomlinson,64, of Evansville, IN passed away surrounded by his family on June 20, 2016.
He was born in Jackson, TN the son of the Gene W. Tomlinson, who has passed and to Mattie C. Hamlett, who survives him.
William worked as a truck driver for 37 years with J. Trockman and Sons Trucking Co.
He was a member of the Northwest Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving him is his wife, Frances F. (Neal) Tomlinson; children, William S. Tomlinson, Christopher A. (Demetria) Tomlinson and Maurina M. Tomlinson; his siblings, James W. Tomlinson, Kenneth P. Tomlinson, Larry W. (Shelia) Tomlinson, Nettie F. (James) Boone and Terry B. Cathey; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and an uncle and aunts.
Funeral services will be on Friday, June 24, 2016, at 1:00PM in Sunset Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

To my Cousins, Nettie and the boys, and Aunt Mattie. We share in you all's sorrow in the loss of Dearly beloved William. hope we can all find comfort in knowing that he is at rest now, no more sickness, sorry, pain again. God has prepared him for that special place He promised, over there just for him.Earth has no sorry that Heaven cannot heal. Our Prayers and continued thoughts are with you all. Daughter's and Cousin's of your late Uncle and Aunt, Eddie and Bernice Ross: Annie Queen, Alline, Juanita, Mary Alice, Barbara Jean and Rosa Lee.

I am so sorry to hear of Mickie's death but I know he will not be forgotten. I first met Mickie when he was attending the SW Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was always smiling shaking hands or giving hugs to everyone as if they were his best friends he had not seen for awhile. He is in the memory of his God awaiting to live again in a cleansed earth with all his friends and family.
