Chuck Walker Browning

Chuck Walker Browning, age 73 of Lakeview, OH, passed away at his home Tuesday September 2, 2025. Chuck was born on March 26, 1952, in Washington Court House, Ohio, the son of Charles Walker and Mary (Allen) Browning. He graduated from Piketon High School in 1971 and went on to dedicate 45 years of loyal service to International Paper, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependable nature. On June 12, 2004, Chuck married the love of his life, Connie Rae Miller. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and community. Chuck had a gift for making friends wherever he went. Always quick to lend a hand, he was known for his kindness, easygoing spirit, and sense of humor. He cherished life by the lake-whether it was relaxing on the water, enjoying a boat ride, or cruising around the neighborhood in his golf cart. Chuck truly embraced the "lake life" and all the simple joys it brought. He is survived by his devoted wife Connie Browning; children: Chad (Haley) Browning, Brad (Samantha) Browning and Kimberly K. (Jeff) Lamb; grandchildren: Brandon Browning, Kenzie Browning, Kayla Browning, Hannah (Micheal) Kimes, Mandy (Bobby) Hall, Lauren (Alex) Green, Drew Lamb, Logan Lamb, and Cassy Lamb; and siblings: Beatrice Shields, Freida Moore, Louise Osborne, and Michael "David" Browning. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents; step-son David "Scott" Daniel; and siblings: Willima E. Howard, Barbara Mullet, Betty Brown and John Williams Browning. Visitation will be Monday, September 8, 2025 at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel, 347 West Center St., Marion from 11AM to 1PM; funeral service will follow at 1PM with Celebrant Galen McLeod; burial will be in Meeker Cemetery.
