Fern Mullins Obituary
Fern Mullins (Osborne), 88, went home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2025. She was born on May 1, 1937, in Welch, West Virginia, to the late Ozzie and Polly (Crockett) Osborne.
Fern loved the Lord and her family more than anything. She shared her faith and her joy through music-singing and playing guitar in church and throughout her community. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, baking cookies, and doing crafts together. Many of her happiest moments were spent sitting on the porch in the evenings, guitar in hand, singing gospel songs and making precious memories with her loved ones.
She was the rock of her family-steady, strong, and full of love. Her kindness, faith, and music will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Fern was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Mullins (passed July 7, 2007), and by her siblings: Adeline (Osborne) Walters, James Dean, Lacey Dean, Ozzie Osborne Jr., Kenneth Osborne, Dora Carol Osborne, D.W. Osborne, David Osborne, Retha Osborne, Irvin Osborne, and Bill Osborne.
She is survived by her son, Will Mullins (wife Vicky), and her daughters, Charlie (Mullins) Elliot, Jerina (Mullins) Knight and husband Jeff, Sandy (Mullins) Eskins and husband Joey, and LaDonna (Mullins) Meyer and husband Jim. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael Mullins, Kym Mullins, Mariah Mullins, JP Sorah, Hope Sorah, Tiffany Ketcham, Cheylin Yetzer, Brandon Weaver, Ashley Cardenas, Ben Pierson and Joe Pierson. She is also survived by many beloved great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Fern was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother-truly irreplaceable. Her faith, warmth, and song will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held on December 9th at 4-8pm at Carrie's Venue at 129 Harding Way E in Galion OH. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Fern's life and the love she shared with all.
