Michael Shroat Obituary

Michael Lee Shroat, age 55, of Ostrander, Ohio passed away on February 28, 2025. He was born on July 25, 1969 in Fairfax, Virginia to James Lee and Margie (Price) Shroat. Michael graduated from Westerville South High School and Columbus State Community College. He was a member of the Westerville South Swim Team and held a record. Michael worked as a Production Manager at Honda from May 22, 1995. His employees found him to be kind and fair. He was respected by many. He enjoyed watching football, especially Ohio State and the Washington Commanders, traveling Europe and the USA with family, and spending time with friends and family. Michael loved good food, music, movies, watching Ohio State win, exercising, golf, and antiquing with his wife. His proudest achievement is his two boys and his family. He had a sense of humor, was kind had a good work ethic and was smart. Surviving are his parents, wife, Petra Shroat whom he married on July 8, 2000; sons Oliver and Ethan Shroat; and brother, Matt Shroat. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 11, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Radnor Township Community Center, 4061 Sate Route 203, Radnor, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to his two son's college fund at: Shroat College Fund
