Ronald Montgomery Obituary
Ronald Leslie Montgomery II, age 64, of Marion, passed away on November 4, 2025, at Presidential Post Acute after a long courageous battle against cancer. He was born on May 16, 1961 to the late Ronald L. & Linda L. (Franklin) Montgomery
Ronnie attended Harding High School. Ronnie was employed with various local restaurants like the David Street Party Store, Pizza Chef and Perkins. He also worked at Community Hospital in housekeeping and Cedar Point. He spent many years working in construction, a career which took him traveling out of state and gifted him some incredible knowledge, skills and friendships.
Ronnie loved being outdoors, he enjoyed camping & fishing. Ronnie attempted to master the bass guitar, in doing so he learned "Smoke on the Water" but his attempt was foiled when his brother's cut his guitar strings in protest from suffering through the same few notes endlessly. He had a love for dogs, especially German Shepherds, and had several over the years, including Chase who he leaves behind. He even owned an Iguana.
Ronnie loved his family and his only regret in life would be not getting to spend more time with them. Ronnie was a great friend who would do anything for any of them. Ronnie was incredibly handy and could build and assemble anything. In fact, he was often the one at family birthdays and Christmases, putting together the toys for the kids.
Ronnie's bat signal has been activated & Batman has been called home. John 3:16
