Ronnie M. Green, 77 of Galion passed away on Sunday March 2, 2025, at home following an extended illness. Ronnie was born August 5, 1947, in Twin Branch, West Virginia to the late Leonard W. and Virgie L. (Foley) Green. He was married November 28, 1993, to Debra (Hall) Green who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter Courtney.
Ronnie is also survived by children Kimberly J. (Joe) Forsythe of Iowa, Clint M. Green of Galion, and Nicholas Green of Ontario; stepchildren Kevin (Jen) Johnson of Ontario, Scott (Cory) Johnson of Texas, and Melissa (Brett) Blubaugh of Crestline; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; sister Ronda L. (Daniel) Ellis of Gibsonburg; brother Randall F. (Jenni) Green of Bucyrus; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Ronnie worked at Galion Dresser for 20 years and retired after 20 years driving semi-truck as a private owner. He enjoyed the outdoors to include hunting and fishing. Ronnie was also an avid coon hunter, raising dogs of which his two special dogs were “Apache” and “McGruff”.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Hager officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
