San Diego - Michael Paul Brown, 60, of San Diego, California, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024, at his home.
He was born in Defiance, Ohio on February 26, 1964, to Karen and Robert Brown. He graduated from Ayersville High School in 1982.
Mike left the Midwest where he grew up and moved to Los Angeles, where he met and married Dana Meyer. Mike and Dana had two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Alexa, who were the light of his life. Mike was a generous and adoring father to his daughters, and he took great pride in raising his girls to be good, loving and kind, to work hard, and to be there for each other and family. His family and extended family meant the world to him. Mike was very happy to see his daughters marry very supportive and awesome husbands.
Mike started working in the attorney services business when he moved to California. He eventually moved to San Diego where he (as President) established Advanced Attorney Services, Inc. in 1996 with a business partner. The company is a leading attorney services firm in Southern California.
Mike enjoyed watching and cheering on his favorite sports teams. He was a diehard Ohio State Buckeye follower and a long time Cleveland Browns backer. He enjoyed going to his residence on the Colorado River and speeding down the river in his prized boat. He had an outgoing and fun-loving personality and was the life of any party. He always looked forward to the annual March Madness Vegas weekends and shopping trips with his Dad, brothers and nephews.
He is certainly gone too soon and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Mike is survived by his daughters Ashley (Leo) Morn and Alexa (Truman) Dodd, former spouse Dana Brown of San Diego, brothers Steve (Valerie) Brown of Defiance, Ohio, Jerry (Karen) Brown, Bruce (Hayley) Brown of Angola, Indiana, Jeff (Lisa) Brown of Jerome, Michigan, Doug (Susan) Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Ken (Laura) Brown of Wauseon, Ohio.
