Orville O. Weirauch

Napoleon - Orville O. Weirauch, 92, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Vancrest of Holgate. He was born on April 11, 1933, in Henry County, the son of George and Martha (Gebers) Weirauch. On April 24, 1954, he married the love of his life, Jacquline "Jackie" Eitzman, at St. John's Lutheran Church of Holgate. She preceded him in death on February 8, 2022. They shared sixty-seven wonderful years together. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Napoleon. Orville worked at Tenneco for thirty-two years, retiring in 1995, as a maintenance/set-up man and was a Union Steward. His work life consisted of "but not limited to" Napoleon Parks and Recreation; pool, golf course and park maintenance. He also worked at Napoleon Brick and Tile and Glanz Tile of Napoleon.

Orville enjoyed football and golf in high school. In his adult life he enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing, camping, and helping family, friends and neighbors with simple to complex projects.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Bruce (Hilda) Weirauch, Pamela Weirauch and Julie (Matt) Mathias; grandchildren, Joel (Becky) Weirauch, Kevin (Alexa) Weirauch, Ethan (Megan) Mathias, Elliott Mathias, Elijah (Kelsey) Mathias and great-grandchildren, Ainslee Mathias, Adele Mathias and Ashton Mathias. He is also survived by many other beloved relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jackie Weirauch and infant daughter, Amy Weirauch.

Visitation for Orville will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church (1075 Glenwood Ave) of Napoleon from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with funeral services following immediately after in the church chapel. Burial will take place at Riverview Memory Gardens of Defiance. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Snyder-Wesche-Hoening Funeral Home of Napoleon.
