Ralph Badenhop Obituary
Ralph was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon where he served on many boards and committees, including Treasurer and School Board member. Ralph was enlisted in the Air National Guard before working for the State of Ohio responsible for public health and sanitary science; and drove cars for Patton Pontiac and Synder Chevrolet. Ralph enjoyed history and worked on the church history publication at St. Paul. He was an avid baseball fan and often planned family vacations to conveniently take in a local game. Ralph also had season tickets for the Mud Hens and enjoyed following BGSU Falcon Football. He loved spending time gardening and landscaping.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Brenda; children, Jodi (Shane) Rashley, Steven (Charlene) Badenhop, and Jill (Christopher) Buehner; grandchildren, Katelynn Rashley, Jenna Rashley, Preston Badenhop, Spencer "Wade" Badenhop, Luke Buehner, and Hannah Buehner; and siblings, Carlan (Lois) Badenhop, Wayne Badenhop, Glenn (Kay) Badenhop, and James (Bonnie) Badenhop. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marian (Laurence) Fintel; and sister-in-law, Barbara Badenhop.
Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon, on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior to services. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Napoleon. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Northcrest Nursing Home.
