William Shuler Obituary
He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on December 11, 1957, to Donald and Alice Elaine (Robinson) Shuler. Bill loved his career as a service technician at Taylor Hyundai Automotive Group in Findlay, Ohio. He was a Master Platinum Certified Technician with many Certificates of Excellence from the Automotive Service Excellence Institute. Bill truly enjoyed his work and loved all the people he worked with. He loved his Harley-Davidson and was an avid camper. He enjoyed boating, fishing and shooting. He will be greatly missed by his family and many great friends, especially his grandchildren, as he was a doting grandfather and never missed an event or game. He made sure to capture and share videos of their achievements with all those he loved.
Bill is survived by his wife Diana Shuler, his daughter Brandi M. Berry, both of Defiance, and his grandchildren; Serenity, Kamdyn and Katheryn Berry. He also leaves behind his siblings; Michael (Phyllis) Warrick of Lake Odessa, Michigan, Chris Meyer of Defiance, Connie Petry of Wyoming, David (Debra) Shuler of New Bavaria, Ohio, Janet (Gary) Renollet of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Linda (Fred) Michaelis of Napoleon, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Bryan Froelich, and brother, Dale Shuler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 4 at the funeral home with David Eiserle officiating.
