Adelaide Pappano Obituary

PAPPANO Mrs. Adelaide (Verrilli) Pappano, age 92, formerly of Jersey Street, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at Marathon Health Care of Prospect. She was the widow of Anthony Pappano. Mrs. Pappano was born in Dover, N.J., on July 11, 1913, daughter of the late Fred and Theresa (DelVecchio) Verrilli. She moved to Bridgeport as a child settling to Waterbury in 1980. While in Bridgeport, she was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church and a member of the church's St. Theresa's Guild. She leaves a son, Frederick L, Pappano and his wife, Carol Pappano, of Middlebury; two daughters, Rose Marie Cybul and her husband, Larry Cybul, of Satellite Beach, Fla. and Janet Gallant and her husband, Ronald Gallant Sr., of Naugatuck; a sister, Lucille Puglise and her husband, Thomas, of Stratford; six grandchildren, Lori Gerboc, Gary Cybul, Melissa Schofield, Stacy Pappano, Ron Gallant Jr. and Anthony Pappano; five great-grandchildren, Zachary Gerboc, Kyrstin Schofield, Kelly Gerboc, Erin and Megan Schofield; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial /The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway to St. Francis Assisi Church in Naugatuck for a mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours are on Saturday morning from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
