Adele Leventhal, age 90 of Trumbull, CT, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Leventhal was born in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Meyer and Sadie Platzek, and was a graduate of The University of Connecticut, with a degree in Pharmacy. Adele was everything to her family. Family was very important to her. She was kind, caring, smart, fun-loving, beautiful, and loved. She always knew the right things to do and say. She loved family vacations, especially to Cape Cod, MA, San Diego, CA, Saint Louis, MO, and Orlando, FL. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday because it brought family together.
Adele was pre deceased by her beloved husband, Leonard Leventhal in 2018, and is survived by her devoted daughters, Cheryl Elliot, Debbie May Leventhal, Lauren Miller and her husband Arthur, Diane Shank and her husband Gary, and by her adored grandchildren; Shana and Jessica Elliot, Sam and Will Miller, Emily, Alyssa and Greg Shank, and Alana Leventhal. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 2 PM at The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT. By request of the family, only those vaccinated may attend, and masks must be worn. Interment will take place at B'nai Torah Cemetery on Reid Street in Fairfield. Please see www.greensfuneralhome.com
