How sad I am to hear of Mr. Fildes passing. Chris was the best man at my wedding to Don Volturno. Many days were spent at the fildes house. I always admired Mr. Fildes what a great man he was. He was an even better dad. My prayers and thoughts are with you. God Bless!!!

To Millie and the entire Fildes family,
I was really saddened to hear of the passing of your husband. He was a kind person and a loving father that cared about his family. I really enjoyed helping Al with projects because I knew he really appreciated it. His career with the Bridgeport Fire Department says a lot about him. When the fire alarm sounded, Al put himself at risk to help people that he did not know. That says a lot about Al. He will be sadly missed.
