Alexander Onuska Obituary

Alexander Onuska, 80, of Slovakia, formerly of Trumbull, CT passed away from complications of pneumonia on January 4, 2022 after spending a few weeks in the hospital.
Alex was born in Michalovce, Slovakia on January 5th, 1941 to Jan Onuska and Rosalia Pliskova, tragically he lost his mother at age 4 and was raised by his father and stepmother Maria Fialkovicova. In 1966 Alex married Anna Kickova and had two children Alexander Jr. and Alena. Pursuing his dream he moved to America to create a better life for himself and his family. He was a long time Trumbull CT resident. He worked for Family Garage in Bridgeport as well as Renu Auto Body and Service in Ansonia. He was quick to lend a hand if you needed help. He was great friend to many. He loved building and fixing all kinds of things but his passion for fixing cars was incredible. He would fix all kinds of cars whether it required engine work or body / frame work he would fix it back to original shape. Most recently him and his wife moved back to Slovakia and funeral services were performed there January 10th 2022.
He is survived by his lovely wife Anna Onuska, children Alex Onuska Jr. and Alena Onuska-Rowley and grandchildren Chelsea and Madison Onuska and Ashley and Kailey Rowley.
He will forever be loved, missed and in our hearts.
