Alexander Patuzzi Obituary
Alexander Charles Patuzzi, III, age 57, of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Griffin Hospital with his loving sister Carolyn Dow and her husband Jeffrey by his side. He was born in Bridgeport on August 11, 1965, son of the late Alexander and Marian (Tomasko) Patuzzi, Jr., and lived in Shelton most of his life. He resided the past two years at Hewitt Apple Rehab. Alex frequented many local businesses and restaurants in Shelton and was affectionately known as "Big Al". He is survived by his two older sisters, Laura DeAngelo and Janet Patuzzi, and several nieces and nephews. Alex has joined his parents for his final rest. Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 4 to 6 PM. On Wednesday his procession will leave the parlor at 9:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church in Shelton. Burial will follow at Huntington Lawn Cemetery. I´m so sorry to hear of Al´s passing. I have many fond memories of Al growing up in Shelton, attending St Joe´s (we were in class together) and seeing his forever smile and cheerful personality when I worked downtown Shelton.
