To Fred's family
I was shocked and saddened to read about Fred's passing. I only knew him as my painter.....but that was special to me. My own dad was a painter...and owned a paint store in Sunnyside , N.Y. I remember my. Mom telling me that people would call for Dad, and not be willing to accept the fact that he could not paint for them anymore. All these years later, I now feel the same way. Fred was good at what he did! He was polite and thoughtful and I was so happy having him when needed to paint for me. He made me feel compfortable and did what had to be done well. We talked about manly things and I knew he was a fine person. My heart goes out to your family at the loss of your husband and father. Please accept my deep sympathy! Mitzi Goldberg
