Alice Dunlap Obituary

Dunlap, Alice G.
Alice G. Dunlap, age 93, of Derby entered into rest on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Birmingham Health Care Center. She was the devoted wife of the late Lester Dunlap. Mrs. Dunlap was born in Derby daughter of the late John and Jennie (Clifford) Burkhardt and was a Shelton resident for most of her life. She was a clerk at Bradley's for many years. Mrs. Dunlap was very active and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is the loving mother of Alice McHugh. Mrs. Dunlap also leaves a good friend Margaret Orazietti. She is predeceased by her friend Mary Fortier. On Friday, friends are invited to go directly to St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave., Shelton for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Her burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences at www.riverviewfh.com.

Our prayers for you, Alice, in your loss. We visited your Mom for a number of years on Halloween after we moved from Fort Hill. Her home was filled with loving memories of your father and she was so proud of you. ~ Beverly Isselee, Nora, Annie, and James
