Beasie was one of the Greenhouse's favorite guest. I played the piano there for 43 years, and always looked forward to her visits. We spoke on the telephone often, and I will miss our "Saturday visits. She was truly a Great Lady.

I will always remember Aunt Bea's spirit and love of life. She loved a battle and hated to be teased but could dish it out. Was always fun and like all Churchman's a real character.

Mrs. du Pont was a breathe of fresh air. When she would arrive at my shop everything stopped. That twinkle. Needlepoint was her craft. An expert. For friends and family. She always had time to sit and chat. We had fun. She was fun. Mrs. du Pont I will remember you.

I am Mackensie's other grandmother. Would like you to know what a grand woman she was. We always enjoyed her visits to Stonington. She so loved Mackensie and Mackensie loved her. So very sorry for your loss, but we are so happy that she was in our lives for the last 21 years. She will be missed.

21 years of love and laughter with Beasie du Pont, my daughter's grandmother. A total class act: gracious, loving, and accepting, she was one of our very best friends and biggest supporters. From overnight visits at her Fairfield home ... to visits in Stonington ... lunches at the Pequot Yacht Club in Southport ... and helping to support Mackensie du Pont Crowley's college education, we are so GRATEFUL for her unconditional love and support. Thank you Beasie for showing us real, unconditional love and friendship. We will miss this incredibly fun and brave woman - 100 years young!

A delight to be around. Her wide smile and deep laugh always made one feel good, and Beasie seldom missed a trick. Lots of good memories for our family. Thinking of her children.

Our Mom was a lot of fun ! She loved children and loved helping others. When stricken with polio in the mid 1940's she made a gritty return to an active life graduating from crutches to doubles tennis club championships. What an inspiration !
