Andrew Prucinsky Obituary

PRUCINSKY Andrew G. (Perky) Prucinsky Sr., age 94, of Bridgeport, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at St. Vincent4s Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Bridgeport on March 9, 1909, he was the son of the late Andrew G. and Anna (Slosar) Pruzinsky, and was a Bridgeport resident all of his life. Mr. Prucinsky was a lead foreman for the Tilo Roofing Co. of Stratford, and the owner of Perkins and Son Co. He was a fourth-degree lifetime member of the knights of Columbus, Park City Council 16, a member of the professional Business Association of Bridgeport, an avid bowler and a die-hard Yankee fan. Survivors include his beloved wife, Lucy (Wydra) Prucinsky; his devoted children, one son, Andrew E. Prucinsky and his wife, Diane, of Bridgeport; two daughters, Barbara Sebes, of Shelton, and Cathy Koritko and her husband, Bob, of Milford; one sister, Agnes J. Pruzinsky of Southport; his loving grandchildren, Katherine Doce, of Stratford, Denise Sebes, of Westport, Glenn Prucinsky, of Stratford, Donald Sebes Jr., of Stratford, Debra Samperi, of Monroe, Keith Koritko, of New Milford, Kari-Ann Dyson, of Milford, Kelly Koritko, of Milford; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Ann (Peggy) Pruzinsky; and four brothers, Method, Cyril, Edward, and Joseph Pruzinsky. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, April 4, 2003, at 8:30 a.m. in the Parente Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peters4s Church, 695 Colorado Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Parente Lauro funeral home.
