Andrew Benjamin Ritz
Andrew Benjamin Ritz, age 46, of Bridgeport, an assistant supervisor for Alsco Uniforms, died suddenly on Friday, August 22, 2025. Born in Bridgeport on April 6, 1979, he was a son of Laura Bonaventura Dawdy, of Bridgeport and the late Michael A. Ritz Sr. In addition to his father, he was greeted into eternity by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bonaventura who he loved and missed, and his younger brother, Michael A, Ritz Jr. Andy loved to assist people any way he could. He enjoyed wrestling and was an avid Star Wars fan.
Along with his mother Laura, he is survived by his son, Christopher Ritz-Rbyzak and his aunts and uncles, Joyce Birch, Angie Ward and her husband Charles and Mark Bonaventura and his wife Debbie as well as several cousins. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Road Trumbull, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
