Cusack, Ann
Ann Cusack, age 99, of Easton, the widow of the late John Thomas Cusack, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in County Longford, Ireland on August 2, 1914 to the late Michael and Catherine Brady. Crossing the Atlantic alone at age ten, her voyage to America reflected the strong faith and silent fortitude that carried her throughout her life. Her quiet, unwavering love and support will be cherished by all who called her wife, Mom, Nanny or "little Auntie Ann".
She is survived by her loving children, James Cusack and his wife, Sue of Rome, NY and Maureen Scrivani and her husband, George of Easton and was the much loved Nanny to grandchildren, Annie Mohr (Eric), Elizabeth Scrivani, John and James Cusack as well as one great grandson, Cole Mohr. In addition to her dearest husband, she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters in Ireland.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. directly at Notre Dame Church of Easton. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. Friends may greet her family on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield Center.
