Anna Galajda

GALAJDA Anna Galajda, age 98, of Trumbull, the widow of George Galajda passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in the Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield. Anna a retired assembler for G.E, was born in Toriske, Czechoslovakia to the Late George and Mary (Kotz) Petrisko and has been a lifelong area resident. Survivors include her daughter Nancy Golen of Westport; her grandchildren Mark Golen and his wife Linda of San Jose, CA and Lisa Meier and her husband Reto of New Canaan; her great-grandchildren Alex, Shelby, Chandler, Lindsay and Geoffrey Golen, Christian and Joshua Meier; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 27, 2012, at 10:30 am directly in Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church 1540 East Main Street Bridgeport for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in Trumbull Farms Burial Grounds in Trumbull. Calling hours have been omitted. The Adzima Funeral home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
