Anthony L. Vitti Jr.

VITTI Anthony L. Vitti, Jr., age 70, of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the St. Vincent's Hospital. Mr. Vitti was the beloved husband of the late Maureen (Osborne) Vitti. Anthony was born in New Canaan on January 29, 1940, son of the late Anthony L. and Lucy (Gentile) Vitti, Sr. and was a Shelton resident for 41 years. He grew up in New Canaan and later lived in Bridgeport for a few years before moving to Shelton. Anthony was a clerk for Shaw's in New Haven for many years until his retirement. He is the loving father of Carolyn Vitti and her boyfriend, Jerry Windsor, Debbye Vitti and her husband, Oscar Flores; brother of Barbara Horosky and Daniel and Frank Vitti. Mr. Vitti is the loving grandfather of Amanda S. and Melissa N. Benson and Joshua and Rebecca Flores-Vitti. Friends may call on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. His funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the parlor. His burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in the spring.
