Antoinette Ulmaniec Obituary

ULMANIEC Antoinette S. Ulmaniec, age 93, wife of the late Joseph L. Ulmaniec, died Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at St. Joseph8s Manor in Trumbull. Born in Poland, she was a Fairfield resident for more than 63 years. Mrs. Ulmaniec was an employee of Salvo and Sons Cleaners for more than 20 years. She is survived by her daughter, Christina A. Covino of Trumbull; four sisters, Sabina Zolna, Sister Lydia Sekowski, Mary Wolanin and Wanda Nigborowicz, all of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Joseph M. Covino, Michelle Covino Deaso, Christine C. Bokine and Jacqueline M. Gelmetti; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 South Pine Creek Road, and at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Thomas Cemetery in Fairfield. Friends may call on Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Contributions may be made in Mrs. Ulmaniec8s memory to the Alzheimer8s Association, Fairfield County Chapter, 607 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851 or St. Joseph8s Manor 6448 Main Street, Trumbull, CT 06611 to the attention of Eileen Murray.
