I grew up in Bridgeport. My folks were close friends of Arlen's parents and I saw Arlen at a number of social functions. I was a pre-adolescent and he was a college student. I had the worst crush on him. He was charming and sweet and very kind to a young girl. I'm sure he was a wonderful man as well. My condolences to the family.
