Barbara Alpert Obituary

Barbara Fradette Alpert
Barbara Fradette Alpert (August 1964 – November 2023) passed away peacefully at her home in Palmetto, Florida, with her loving husband by her side. Born in Bridgeport CT, the daughter of the late Laurier Fradette and Barbara Fradette Andrews, she resided in Fairfield CT for many years. Later, she resided in Milford, CT until relocating to Florida in 2009 with her husband, Dave Alpert Sr.
She was a loving mother and grandmother to her daughters, Stephine N. Comlish and Christina M. Healy (Mike) and grandson Michael George Healy III, who reside in CT. She was a sister to her seven siblings: Deborah Lienemann, Daniel Fradette, Sandra Dube, Michael Fradette, James Fradette, Kimberly Fradette (deceased), and Scott Andrews.
Barbara used writing as an instrument of hope, encouragement and to inspire others. She had written countless devotionals for Christian organizations and Bayside Community Church. She was the author of several books and a six-time contributing author to the popular Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
She has chosen cremation (with no service). Before passing, she took the time to create precious moments with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, you can make a life contribution to her grandson's, Michael George Healy III, trust fund via GoFundMe, which is publicly posted on Barbara's Facebook page.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Sharing this angelic reflection image on the wall taken on the chapel.

Sometimes God arranges a special moment between two people, Barbara and I were blessed , beyond blessed, to see His hand at work in a very special, precious moment in time, She wrote about me in her book, Arise, now I shall write about her,

God's unseen hand guided her into the bookstore one Sunday, almost as if to say, Come Barbara, I have a little more healing for you, He made her eyes fall purposely upon a picture of woman reaching out to Jesus desperately needing healing, Barbara put herself in that picture, that's what she saw, that's what Jesus wanted her to see! He is the same Jesus of yesterday that healed that woman, as he is today that healed Barbara! Barbara is now healed, delivered, set free and made whole!

As I reread Barbara book, it seems fitting she wrote Psalm 118:19 at the beginning of this chapter, " Open for me the gates of righteousness , I will enter and give thanks to the Lord" Barbara has entered! I noticed after every chapter she would thank God for getting her through the worst days, in every situation finding even the smallest things to give thanks, If she thanked her Lord on earth, how much more is she thanking Him in heaven!

She had such a gift of writng, and she knew her scriptures! I have shared her book with many others, her legacy lives on, The day she came and gave me the book was such an amazing moment , I turned to the back, and there she was! A picture of a beautiful woman,,,,,,,for the world to see! How proud I was of her! As hard as her life was on earth, I am sure she is reaping such a great reward! See you in heaven, Barb!
